Frequently asked questions
Most split system cleans take around 45–60 minutes per unit. Larger or heavily soiled systems may take a little longer. Bulk cleans can generally be completed at around 30-40 minutes per unit.
For most homes, we recommend cleaning every 12 months. If you have pets, allergies, live in a humid environment, or run your unit heavily, a clean every 6 months may be best. For businesses, hotels, and commercial properties, more frequent servicing may be necessary.
No.
We specialise exclusively in split system AC cleaning. By focusing on one service, we’re able to provide a more thorough clean at a lower price point compared to general HVAC companies.
If possible, move furniture and valuables away from the unit to give our technicians clear access. Ideally, we need a clear square of space around the unit with sides slightly longer than the AC itself, so we can safely set up our cleaning equipment. If something is difficult or unable to move, just let us know—we’ll work with you to keep the area safe and protected during cleaning.
You can gently rinse or vacuum your air filters every couple of months to help maintain airflow. However, this doesn’t replace a professional deep clean, as contaminants build up inside the coils, drain, and fan where regular cleaning can’t reach.
Over time, dust, mold, and bacteria build up inside the unit. This reduces airflow, straining the motor, and increasing electricity costs. It can worsen allergies, asthma, and general air quality. Additionally extended time between cleaning can lead to leakages and in some cases costly breakdowns.
Yes.
For safety, we always turn off power to the unit before beginning a clean. Fortunately almost all modern ACs are electrically isolated so you wont lose power to your home. Once the process is complete, we restore power to the unit and run an operational check.
We take great care with every system we service, and are proud to say we've never damaged an air conditioner. We are fully insured for peace of mind, and our technicians follow a safe, step-by-step cleaning process.
No, we don’t install or repair units. Our focus is strictly on professional cleaning. However, during each service we carry out basic diagnostics. If we notice an issue, we’ll flag it so you can pass it directly to your existing licensed electrician or installer for repair.
Yes. For more than 4 units, we offer discounted rates. We also provide tailored solutions for property managers, hotels, and commercial properties with a large amount of units.
We go far beyond a surface wipe. Our process involves disassembling the unit, cleaning the internal components (coils, drain, duct, and fan) with water and specialised cleaning chemical, and wiping/brushing covers, fins, and filters. The unit is then reassembled, powered on, and tested for proper operation.
